The countdown to the 11th annual NW SolarFest has begun!

Come join us on Saturday, 26 July at Shoreline Community College between 10AM and 5PM to celebrate and learn about renewable energy and sustainable living.

The free outdoor event is will packed wall-to-wall with fascinating speakers and demonstrations, fun happenings, and live music and food to boot.

Our very own Jeremy Smithson will be speaking at 2PM about why electric vehicles are worthwhile today, reducing our reliance of fossil fuels, and the economics behind this sensible technology.

Jeremy will also be on hand with our company Rav4 EV and new Ford Electric Transit Van to show you, and to answer all your EV and solar questions.

NW SolarFest is organized by the Shoreline Solar Project and is sponsored by the City of Shoreline, Shoreline Community College, Seattle City Light, and many others.

About The Author - Jeremy Smithson

Started Puget Sound Solar in 2001 with 30 years of construction contracting experience, and a desire to turn Seattle on to solar energy. Achieving NABCEP certification in 2004, Jeremy believes that our customers often follow a path similar to the one he took, starting out with solar daydreaming, then progressing to education on the subject, and eventually leading to action. In addition to leading the company he also does some teaching and speaking engagements about various aspects of solar energy, and experiments relentlessly with various solar, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle projects.
