Puget Sound Solar’s Home Performance division saved our customers a whopping one million kilowatt hours (1 GWh) in 2012. That’s enough electricity to power 114 Seattle homes for an entire year! Those numbers emphasize the dual nature of America’s green power revolution: that how we use our energy is just as important as where we get our energy. New appliances, windows, increased insulation, reduced infiltration, and more advanced water heating systems are all potential strategies for providing a healthy, comfortable, and energy efficient environment for your family. We invite you to join our customers on the point of the green spear by having one of our expert technicians perform a comprehensive energy audit on your home. It’s a win-win scenario wherin saving your pocket book also saves the planet!

About The Author - Jeremy Smithson

Started Puget Sound Solar in 2001 with 30 years of construction contracting experience, and a desire to turn Seattle on to solar energy. Achieving NABCEP certification in 2004, Jeremy believes that our customers often follow a path similar to the one he took, starting out with solar daydreaming, then progressing to education on the subject, and eventually leading to action. In addition to leading the company he also does some teaching and speaking engagements about various aspects of solar energy, and experiments relentlessly with various solar, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle projects.
