Puget Sound Solar is proud to unveil our exclusive Energy Minder monitoring system for our solar customers.

Key Features:

  • Detailed views of solar production and electricity usage
  • Gives direct feedback on whole house performance
  • Protects your investment with alerts if production drops
  • Mobile apps give essential real-time information on the go
  • Uses eGauge, a stable and proven energy metering platform
  • Upgrade to monitor individual loads (e.g., EV charging)
  • Accessible online: www.energy-minder.net

Energy Minder provides real time data for iOS, Android and Windows Phones – allowing our existing and new customers to keep tabs on their solar production and electricity use on the go, or via the Internet. There are four vertical screens and scrollable horizontal graphs pop up when you turn your phone sideways. All versions provide current environmental information. Customers can track watts and kilowatt hours produced, dollars earned, and CO2 avoided as well as watts and kilowatt hours consumed. A handy contact page also allows our customers to send an email, make a phone call, or visit our blog for the latest news from Puget Sound Solar from wherever they may be. Interested? Check out www.energy-minder.net to learn about the mobile interfaces and available online data.

About The Author - Jeremy Smithson

Started Puget Sound Solar in 2001 with 30 years of construction contracting experience, and a desire to turn Seattle on to solar energy. Achieving NABCEP certification in 2004, Jeremy believes that our customers often follow a path similar to the one he took, starting out with solar daydreaming, then progressing to education on the subject, and eventually leading to action. In addition to leading the company he also does some teaching and speaking engagements about various aspects of solar energy, and experiments relentlessly with various solar, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle projects.
