Solar energy industry leader Puget Sound Solar (PSS) just released a brand new website and blog powered by online marketing specialist SeoSamba.

By improving its online presence, the Washington-based solar powerhouse aims at increasing online interactions with its vast customer base in the Puget Sound region and better informing anyone interested in solar energy at large.

Founded by Jeremy Smithson and Pamela Burton in 2001 to build Seattle’s first residential grid-tied solar electric system, the 32-strong company with the vision of a green, sustainable future, has kept very busy and is now responsible for over 40% of all photovoltaic systems in the Seattle City Light service area (10% overall statewide).

Boasting raving reviews in Yelp! and other recommendation sites, PSS wants to break new grounds in solar technology, affirm its leader status in the region and push forward pro-solar legislation such as the upcoming 2016’ Solar Bill

“When we are not working on solar projects we are working to influence local, state, and national policy-makers, and we are educating architects, builders, planners, and the general public about solar energy’s place in our energy-hungry society” states Jeremy Smithson.

To accomplish this, the first step was to revamp the somewhat-outdated corporate website to give more room to the many news and blog updates brought forward by Smithson and its acclaimed staff. Which is where the online marketing expert SeoSamba stepped in.

“We admire Jeremy Smithson’s pledge to a greener future, and are very excited about helping Puget Sound Solar reaching out about these important energy issues” said SeoSamba’s CEO Michel Leconte.

Beyond refreshing the website’s look and feel, SeoSamba has integrated a world-class newsroom and blog that will help PSS publish more articles and time-critical updates easily and rapidly. “Moving from a simple link list to a eye-catching is a major overhaul but the biggest value of our new publishing tools is that we will be able to push more news than ever thanks to the easy-to-use SeoToaster CMS has migrated our website to. The admin-free onsite interface is very useful in that respect” says Jeremy Smithson.

According to SeoSamba’s CTO David Culot, the SeoToaster CMS accomplishes even much more with its powerful yet user-friendly backend: “when the folks at PSS will press the publish button, it will not only instantly update the website and all their social networks in one click, but will also send the release to over 100,000 journalists and bloggers worldwide. Coupled with a sustained original content and our integrated SEO automation features, we’re confident PSS will soon become even more of a nationwide reference in the solar energy industry,” Culot said.

“Our motto is to provide predictable marketing results” added Leconte, “and I can already predict that before long Puget Sound Solar will reap long lasting benefits from its much improved online presence,” he concluded.
