Eltek Theia He-t String Inverter Recalled Due To Impact and Fire Hazard
In December, 2018, Eltek announced the recall of Eltek Theia He-t String Inverters because of Impact and Fire Hazards.
Puget Sound Solar is replacing these inverters for our customers as quickly as possible however the sheer volume of the replacements means it’s taking some time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you.
Inverters are replaced in the order of filed claims with Eltek. You can file 1-888-770-7142. If you haven’t filed your claim with Eltek, you have not entered our work cue.
As of 5/21/19, Puget Sound Solar is working on replacing inverter #60 of 300.
** There are no reimbursement to you for lost energy production. But your inverter is being replaced free of charge, with Eltek covering the installer fees and cost of new Delta inverter.
The manufacturer advises that you turn off the inverter, you may decide to leave your equipment on – but any damages that occur is not the responsibility of Puget Sound Solar.
