Solar Energy Industries Association, (SEIA) announced yesterday that four members of Congress have put forth legislation extending the Investment Tax Credit for five-years. 

The current 30% Federal Tax Credit is scheduled to step down from 30% to 26% in 2020, then to 22% in 2021 and in 2022 it goes away for residential projects but remains at 10% for businesses.
