Solar Bill Has Momentum So Far
SHB 2346 has been voted out of the Technology and Economic Development Committee with a Do Pass recomendation, but with incentive rates that are lower than those in the original bill. It was then referred to the Appropriations Committee where it had a hearing on Feb 4th. We are working with members of that committee to see if those rates can be restored.

Washington Poised to Increase Solar and the Bottom Line
The people of the State of Washington have spoken; let there be a more equitable solar incentive program. HB 2346, brought by sponsors Representatives Jeff Morris and Norma Smith, will accomplish that by reducing incentive rates and widening the circle of solar energy producers.
Mason County PUD Community Solar!
Over 200 people have expressed interest in Mason County Public Utility District No. 3's community solar program. The utility is only the third in Washington State to launch such a program, after Seattle City Light and Clark Public Utilities.
