If you are looking for ideas that will make your home more planet friendly, the Northwest Green Home Tour is a great way to see what others have done.  It's open house and self-guided so you can focus on the things that are of interest to you.  Our 108-year old HQ will be on the tour on Sunday so come on over, examine the cornucopia of features and ask questions.  There is solar, rainwater collection, EV charging, heat pump radiant heating, super insulation, efficient appliances, and many other contributors to the performance of this home that can be used to increase the efficiency of any house.  Hours are 11 am to 5 pm.  See you then!

About the author

Started Puget Sound Solar in 2001 with 30 years of construction contracting experience, and a desire to turn Seattle on to solar energy. Achieving NABCEP certification in 2004, Jeremy believes that our customers often follow a path similar to the one he took, starting out with solar daydreaming, then progressing to education on the subject, and eventually leading to action. In addition to leading the company he also does some teaching and speaking engagements about various aspects of solar energy, and experiments relentlessly with various solar, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle projects.
