Remove and Replace Solar Installations

Thank you to Kelly and Aaron for choosing Puget Sound Solar for your solar upgrade project.

When they purchased their home, it came with a 4.8kW Silicon Energy system installed by a different solar company, the infamous “Brand X”. Unfortunately, their modules were showing varying levels of delamination so there was a need to remove or replace the existing system for aesthetics, performance and eventually safety reasons.

Now, Kelly and Aaron have a new 5.695kW Hanwha QCell system comprised of 17 black (frame) on black (backsheet) 335 watt panels which are paired with Enphase IQ7+ microinverters.

Since the original Washington state solar incentive ended on 6/30/2020, we’ve been busy replacing and upgrading some of these legacy systems, especially since the financial incentives have expired (except for Net Metering).

Give us a call if you’d be interested in finding out the costs of upgrading and replacing your old legacy equipment, especially if there are signs of delamination.
