Puget Sound Solar’s solar consultants are available for virtual meetings during the COVID-19, coronavirus pandemic and we’ll continue to offer this service even after the stay-at-home orders are rescinded.  We’re making this announcement because while people are housebound, they may be doing some research on solar and we want you to know we’re still here as a resource for our community.

FYI, we’ve been doing remote solar consultations on and off over the past twenty-years, so it’s something we’re familiar with even though we do love meeting our customers in person. (Solar homeowners are the best kind of customer!!!)

Because of the technology we use, we can look at your home remotely via satellite imagery. Our solar designers and consultants then use specialized software that blends with satellite imagery to show them the size and pitch of your rooftop. With a high degree of certainty, we know how much solar can fit on your roof without having to come there in person to get measurements. With the software, we’re able to add or delete panels so that we can match the goals of your project, whether it’s eliminating 100% of your electrical bill or just offsetting as much energy as possible (with smaller roofs).  We take that information and prepare a FREE customized solar quote for you, so you know what the system can do for you electrically, environmentally and financially.

One additional benefit of using satellite imagery is that it keeps our solar consultants safer by keeping them off ladders and roofs to get in-person measurements.

We’re concerned about our community and the greater world so we’re excited to be able to offer Virtual Solar Consultations to help control the spread of COVID-19.

If you’ve been wondering about whether solar is right for you, if your location is appropriate for solar, the costs or its environmental benefits, please give us a call at 206-706-1931, send us an email at info@pugetsoundsolar.com or click on the hyperlink directly below.
