We’re headed to the 9th annual Sustainable Ballard on September 30th at Ballard Commons Park.

Join us and see what we are up to these days, and while you are at it you can enjoy solar mini-car races, a bike expo, live music, chickens and rabbits, games and prizes, fresh pressed cider, and food trucks for tasting delicious local food. There may even be a wi-fi café on one of Metro’s new RapidRide buses.

Amid the day long festivities, Jeremy Smithson will be giving a talk about energy efficiency and solar energy, solar-powered cars, and the many incentives and financing options.

Where: Ballard Commons Park (NW 57th and 22nd NW)

When: Sunday, September 30th, 11am – 7pm

About The Author - Jeremy Smithson

Started Puget Sound Solar in 2001 with 30 years of construction contracting experience, and a desire to turn Seattle on to solar energy. Achieving NABCEP certification in 2004, Jeremy believes that our customers often follow a path similar to the one he took, starting out with solar daydreaming, then progressing to education on the subject, and eventually leading to action. In addition to leading the company he also does some teaching and speaking engagements about various aspects of solar energy, and experiments relentlessly with various solar, energy efficiency, and electric vehicle projects.
