If you want to see more solar projects like Solarize the Land Trust with social equity, support SparkNW, a local non-profit that’s helped drive solar projects across the Pacific Northwest since 2001 (the same year Puget Sound Solar started!!!).

Check out the SparkNW giveBIG campaign here.

Spark Northwest helped over 1,000 local homeowners go solar through their Solarize campaigns including eleven low-moderate households in the Homestead Land Trust. Puget Sound Solar was a proud participant in the Solarize the Land Trust project so we once again got to see SparkNW’s team in action, organizing, scheduling and presenting at workshops, coordinating the volunteers and finding funding sponsors for the project. Additionally, SparkNW partnered with Homestead Community Land Trust and ECOSS (Environmental Coalition of South Seattle). This was truly a group effort.

If you want to see more affordable, community-focused solar projects, please give generously to SparkNW during the 2020 giveBIG campaign.
