In case you missed it, Seattle City Light is requesting another rate increase that will raise the average SCL customer’s bill by another $9.00 per month over the next two years. This is in addition to other recent Seattle City Light electricity rate increases we discussed a year ago. Costs are going up everywhere.

We love helping our customers protect the environment while they save money and produce their own electricity. By going solar, you can lock down the cost of your electricity and avoid many of the coming utility rate increases for the 25-year warrantied lifetime of your solar PV system.

PV Magazine recently put together a nice article outlining some of the reasons why people across the country are making the switch to solar and includes some thoughts about the cost of going solar versus the cost of inaction.

When you’re ready to take charge of your electrical costs, please give us a call at 206-706-1931 or fill out our contact form below and tell us a little bit about your project. We’ll get you a free, customized, no-pressure solar quote so you can see how the numbers pencil out for your scenario.
